Michael Fenimore, LPC
I believe life is about finding a sense of empowerment, self discovery and growth. At times, having someone to talk to and connect with about the challenges and fears we face can be helpful. That is where counseling can be of service! If you are looking for an empathic counselor to work with and help you reconnect with your capabilities please give me a call.
I specialize in working with adults and young adults who have experienced various forms of distress ranging from depression, anxiety, substance use and bipolar disorder to difficulty managing life transitions, low self-esteem, relationship issues and stress.
I received a Masters of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from Monmouth University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Rutgers University. My orientation as a counselor has a person centered and strengths based approach with techniques rooted in CBT, DBT skills, existential therapy, motivational interviewing and solution focused brief therapy. I look forward to getting to know you!
