Initial Evaluation

A complete biopsychosocial assessment is completed during the initial evaluation appointment.  This will provide me with your complete history as well as an understanding of your current symptoms and needs.  During this evaluation, I will make recommendations for frequency of treatment, as well as an initial treatment plan.

Healing From The Unexpected:
A NICU Parents Therapy Group

As we all know, the NICU journey is a tough one.  It is a roller coaster of emotions, tests, procedures, and the unknown.  And, the journey continues when we bring our babies home.  The effects of the entire experience can be long-lasting: anxiety, stress, depression, PTSD. As a therapist and fellow NICU mom, I am offering a therapy group for other NICU parents to process the experience, support each other, and to heal.  We will also discuss strategies for coping and moving forward. Group will be held every other Tuesday, starting May 8, at 7pm.

Young Adults Group

Completing high school is typically one of the most exciting times of a young adult's life.  For many others, it poses a whole new set of challenges and obstacles that are overwhelming and often seem insurmountable.  Coupled with other issues such as low self-esteem, poor social skills, anxiety, and depression, this can be the most difficult period in a young adult's life.  Group is open to individuals ages 18-25 who are struggling to identify their path in life and would benefit from support and guidance to face these challenges.

Infertility & Pregnancy Loss Group

Infertility and pregnancy loss are some of the most difficult challenges individuals and couples face, and the occurrences of these challenges are becoming more and more common. This group serves to provide support and encouragement for those facing these challenges and the accompanying feelings of grief and loss.

Teen Open Process Group

Teenagers often face many social and emotional challenges while dealing with the typical stressors of day to day life. This group provides a forum for teens truggling with anxiety, depression, self-destructive behaviors, social issues and family issues to give and receive support and feedback from peers. Group members will discuss coping skills for various stressors and develop ways to manage treatment issues.
